How do you authorize Digital Editions on a new PC with an Adobe ID that was previously registered on an old PC?

Trying to authorize Digital Editions on my new PC but unable to as my Adobe ID was set up/authorized on my old PC. What do I need to do or how can get around this problem and get Digital Editions to work again?
