How to transfer a licensed book to another person?

I have version 2 of a book in digital editions - it is licensed to me.

I just bought version 3 of the same book - also licensed to me.

A friend is interested in buying v2 (my copy).  Is there a way I can transfer the book, and the license, to my friend?
