I just authorized my new computer and no books. I need these books for school and they were very expensive. What do I do?

I bought a bunch of college textbooks that were very expensive and I need access to them. I Authorized my computer, and they were supposedly under my account. Unfortunately I cannot access my eBooks and it is as if I never bought them. The weird thing is that it worked before and I was able to get them on both my phone and my old computer, but now I'm at a loss. I was told that I could authorize and view my books on up to nine devices and since I only used two I can't see why there would be an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
