Can you have a multicolored object without using UVs?

Hi, have a doublesided ribbon object, interested in 1 side being a color, and the other side being a material texture. Wondering if this can be done without using a UV? It is an expansive ribbon object and it gets tricky figuring out what is the front and back in the UV even with the numbered grid. Could use some thoughts and tips. Thanks!

your question doesn't make a lot of sence mate

colour is a sub part of material so your object will have both material and colour on each side... you can control which colour and which material

Uv is how 3D objects work so no you can't have a model with no UV because Dimension will detect its missing and flag it for you to fix or just add a default one before rendor

any ideas = have you tried using the magic wand tool yet... start with a base material then select part of the model {shift click to keep adding a bigger area} until you have enough then select a new material for your selection

also using the wand on small models = up the scale by 10 for the selections then put it back to 1 after you have added the new material to the model
