Embed Code missing?

Hi all,

I am unable to fin the embed code option for sending my customer their 3D product. Following all of the tutorials I've seen, I can not locate any 'share' icon in the top right of the screen. It just gives me the create public link option.

What am I missing? I have the latest version of Dimensions. Even when I go to the published scenes and go into my public file, there is still no option for the embed code.

Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you!

objects are already in 3D by default so normally a web page will have what is called 3D animation where the model[s] run around on a timed loop to show how they move... example of this kind of site is mixamo.com where the animations allow you to see how your human model would look jumping or swinging a sword

the advanage of this system is its easy to code and backwards compatable with people still using Windows 7 or on limited download like a phone

4D is what Adobe shows in their online demo... all be it a very limited version of it. in this senario a user normally clicks on the screen with their mouse to spin the object or pan their camera around it

object that can be made to be 'interactive' becomes 4D or to do it another way, if you can somehow change your view point then you are looking in 4D

the advanage is it looks cool for about 2 minites while the client plays with it but the codes are not backwards compatable with most Linux, old Windows, Mac or Phone users so it value is mostly as a sales prop

I recommend you goto the Dreamweaver forum and ask the nice people to take pity

you could link to your model online (with Adobe servers) and use your mouse to pan the camera around the model

you could not have the model on your own website but you could give people the link to it

it may be that Adobe has turned it off now or perhaps they just forgot about it when the team decided to finish Dimension... I don't work for them and they are not telling people much at this point however i would move on to other software at this point

Thank you. From what I am understanding, is that a client loading a product from dimensions onto their website so their audience can spinit around is a 4D, interactive element, and that it's not achievable in Dimension any more?

Please let me know if I have understood this correctly?

iframe are old code that will not work so your customer needs to understand that Dimension is the wrong tool for this job

Thank you. I'm after a solution so my client can view their product in 3D on their website. What would you recommend?

The easiest work around would be to use your personal Adobe account or a mates to open the Dn file then share it... Now that Dimension is finished the exact steps to unlock shares on business accounts will depend on which system you have installed and how well your network administrator knows their job

Thanks for your response. I'm soprry, I'm not understanding. Can you break it down a little more in terms of using my own Adobe account for the work-around please? That sounds like the solution I'm after so my customer can load the link into an iframe to place on their website. Thanks for the prompt replies.

Enterprise and school accounts have it disabled by default

Ok, is there a way to reenable it? I need to have it accessable for my client to load onto their website. Any ideas? Can't find anything in preferences... Thank you.
