MTL is ignored when import OBJ Asset I bought online, what am I doing wrong?

I download a 3D asset from the web.

It has OBJ, MTL, and zip with textures

 

I want to import the obj with all the assets and settings that were provided to me

 

Why this is not a simple task? buying / downloading assets is a common need on a daily basis 

 

Below is the content of the MTL maybe something is wrong inside

yes I know how to read code

mtl is the standard and it assumes you follow the standard which Adobe no longer does... 2 builds back they switched to Apple metal drivers without telling anyone and that system uses almost the same maps but in a different order

 

the bottom line is you are going to need to recode the file or just assemble it inside Dimension by hand

 

as always, share the file if you need help

the mtl file is correct mate... what is wrong is that Adobe doesn't follow the standard because Apple is fighting with Nvidia

 

you will have to unzip the folder and set the textures by hand

Do you know by any chance how to read the MTL in terms of:
Colors, Transparency, Reflection index

All the material specs I guess

 

MDL is the format of NVIDIA what MTL has to do with it?
