Hey everyone!

I'm a texture artist, using Substance Designer to make tileable and parametric materials.

Now that you can use these in Adobe Dimension I am interested in hearing what kind of materials would be useful for designers to have.

I'd love to hear from some designers who are using Dimension privately or professionally. Do you need more materials?

So you get a sense of what's possible, here's a sample of the kind of materials I would make for games:

these are patterns (repeat in a predictable manner) the materials you can make with the base Dimension set are a little less comprehensive than what Substance Designer had but yes you can edit them beyond the base set i.e, make a quick material then custom edit it to be more chaotic

privately i make a lot of nature materials; dirt, mud, rock, feathers, tree bark, and leaf

i once spent two days making a feather look real before we got the substance Designer add ins... would have saved me at least a day

    good luck to you
