2014 Installation Errors

Hello Everyone.

I have been trying to update my Creative Cloud 2014 Updates and the following Programs are not Installing

Photoshop CC 2014

Premiere Pro CC 2014

Media Encoder CC 2014

Audition CC 2014

SpeedGrade CC 2014

Only After Effects CC 2014 shows up to date.

When I click on Installation Failed Learn More Icon, I see this message: ERROR: Failed to repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64).

Also, when I open Lightroom 5 I don't see any file in there.

Thanks.

Hi, I had this error. It turns out that for me at least, this is a false alarm. When I quit Creative Cloud and restarted it from the desktop, it reported that all of the apps had been successfully updated. I tried running PS CC 2014 and Premiere CC 2014, and they seemed to work as they should. I would be interested to know if this works for you.

The error log indicates that the Adobe install package is broken. The Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 that it mentions is out of date. It should not be doing anything with it. If I followed the advice you got from kglad then I would have downgraded my VC++ 2013. It seems that's what the Install packages try to do and fail, as they should. The Install package should handle the error better.

The advice you got from Sumit Singh links you to the latest version, which is VC++ 2013. I already had that properly installed when I got the error, so I don't believe installing it will help, although it shouldn't hurt.
