Hello,

Just realized that ACC flods the ACC.log on my Catalina with warnings with the repeating lines below.

This happens avery 3-5 seconds. Maybe someone has an idea what the cause could be, or how I can open a ticket at Adobe (couldn't find out how to do this)....

Thanks a lot in advance.... 🙂

I did some more tests to find a better workaround for it and at the end I removed the write permission on the log file for everybody:

-r--r--r--@ 1 root  staff  3130324 Feb 11 07:32 /Users/username/Library/Logs/CreativeCloud/ACC/ACC.log

This stopped the Adobe processes to flod the disk with useless writes. Not a nice workaround, but at least it is working without all the other negative side effects from the first workaround I had.

Oh and try Shutting down the Craetive Cloud Desktop app to see if those entries stop.

That Adobe program does not need to be running to use all the other Adobe programs.

Hello,

I tried this already as my first action. No change after the Creative Cloud has been started again.

Then do not start it again. It is not need to access or run or use all the other Adobe program.

You could also try Uninstalling it and then reinstall.

I had a problem with Bridge (2019/2018, don't remember) that when started it eat up CPU cycles and hogged RAM. An unistall and reinmstalled fixed it.

What is ACC and how sure are you that this is coming from an Adobe source?

I've done google searchs for CCDContainer and the individual lines you have posted and came up with nothing.

And why is there a StatusBarManager in one line and ExternalGateway in another?

Just wondering why you think it is some Adobe system that is doing this.

Hi, ACC is Adobe Creative Cloud.

It is also clearly visible, that the logfile is just used by the Creative Cloud software and it's location is in the corresponding software installation path. (MAC OS has no logfile called ACC.log).
