Adobe DNG Converter should be integrated in CC Desktop app

Hi,

I'm wondering why Adobe DNG Converter doesn't appear in the list of applications available from the CC Desktop tool. A lot of CC subscribers use it, especially those using PS and Lightroom. With exception of the beta versions, it should be available directly from the CC app, like Adobe Camera RAW.

This is a user-to-user forum, and I expect it is a decision made within Adobe as to what is included with the Creative Cloud and what is not. I am guessing — purely guessing —that part of the reason is that it is free. I can’t think of any free software that is available through the Creative Cloud app.

I agree it would be nice to have it more visible, but I simply download it on any computer I use.

Subscribers do not need the DNG converter and as it is a free tool you may download it anytime. The functionality, however, is included in products like Lightroom.

Who decides about this ?

I'm a subscriber, I need this tool which I do not necessarily use from Lightroom. I'd like to be automatically informed when the tool is updated and to be able to update automatically instead of having to check manually.
