Challenges in buying Adobe Illustrator licence

Colleagues - I am based in Kampala, Uganda. I tried buying an Adobe Illustrator monthly plan but when I entered my account details on the billing page, an alert message popped up that "This product isn't available for purchase in your country or region (Uganda)."  I repeated the process several times but got the same message. Please advise me on how to overcome this? OR does it mean an Adobe Illustrator plan can not be bought online from Uganda?

Yes Adobe even has Community Professionals in Africa and one in Uganda - that's me!!!

As a follow up Simon was connected with the appropriate staff member at the East African Adobe Resellers Elite Digital. Hopefully this has worked out.

Isn't life great when a Belgian ACP helps a Ugandan by contacting a New Zealand ACP who is in Gulu, Uganda currently!!

That's really nice, Geoff and I'm so glad you could help Simon. For some things you just need the local knowledge. And with resellers it might make a huge difference.

Some small correction: I'm not Belgian, I'm German. Although being a cyclist in Belgium feels way better than in Germany. And you probably live longer.

    There seem to be issues with taxes and so you have to get it through a reseller. This might get (a lot) more expensive than the direct option. Let's see if someone else still has a brighter idea.
