Error 190 had nothing to do with Creative Cloud updates; it simply indicated that Bridge was no longer compatible with Windows 10. That error disappeared last week without the need to update ACC.

I never install Bridge and one day error 190 appear without reason and desappear now probably by Adobe update program of Adobe Cloud.
I can not give any explanation why it appear or if simply indicated Bridge limitation, but without Bridge (never installed), for sure I see any reason to obtain this message in my system.
The most important it’s solved yet, without all Adobe explanation here

    ALL

update has been pushed in the last 24 hrs for CCDesktop that fixes the 190 error along with a full update for the desktop app… to be clear i do not have Creative Cloud Desktop v6.11 installed yet.

Any ways i am on windows 10 with creative cloud desktop app version 6.10.0.252.41 with NO ERROR 190 any more.

All i did was click the update in the error window and it all went away finally! we shall see what happens with version 6.11.

you don’t need the 6.11 update… just click update on the error window and it will update the right files… i have no more errors on 6.10.0.252.41… my system hasn’t be offered the 6.11 update yet.

Newer versions of Bridge remain incompatible with Windows 10, but I no longer get error 190 (I don't use Bridge, yet the error kept appearing).

Just wanna add that I’m no longer get the Error 190 today too.

I used to use Bridge before but uninstalled due to this Error 190 problem. I probably won’t install even the older version because I’m afraid the error might reoccur.

I installed version 16.0.3—the latest one compatible with Windows 10—and error 190 no longer appears. However, I’m getting a notification about an update for Bridge, but the notification itself warns that I cannot install it because my system is incompatible.

I have TWO Windows 10 computers. One is working fine, and on the other for about a month I’ve been getting Adobe Creative Cloud errors.  I ran the Adobe Cleanup Tool after uninstalling Creative Cloud and Adobe.  Reinstallated and am STILL getting the error.

Please fix the issue.  It’s disturbing and making me think something’s wrong with my 2nd PC.

What is the full build of Windows 10? RAM? Processor?

At some point, it’s inevitable that all support for Windows 10 is going to be dropped and if I was still running it, I’ll be getting prepared now.

Microsoft will continue to provide free support for Windows 10 until October 2027, and it is even possible that this support could be extended for a significantly longer period upon payment.

Adobe is erroneously auto-deploying components intended exclusively for Windows 11 to Windows 10 PCs, resulting in Error 190. Since official Adobe documentation states that Creative Cloud Desktop supports Windows 10, this issue appears to stem from Adobe's deployment metadata.

    Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.7548
    Creative Cloud Desktop 6.10.0.253
KANC 7.0.7.25 auto-update fails with Exit Code 190.
Adobe ffc metadata requires minOSVersion 10.0.0.22000,
although Creative Cloud Desktop officially supports Windows 10.

I believe the problem is with Bridge; the new version 16.0.6 is no longer compatible with Windows 10, as stated in its specifications.

I appreciate that you are unable to install Bridge with Error 190, but @gerardop91 is currently trying to install the Creative Cloud Desktop app with the same Windows build.

Please feel free to follow this discussion @onazole, you can see the most recent response below, asking for details from @gerardop91 installation logs. The solution discovered may be applicable to Adobe Bridge and your discussion at

I think the Creative Cloud error is caused by Bridge, that's why I'm mentioning it.

I had a similar issue once, and it turned out to be the Creative Cloud Desktop app rather than Windows or Chrome. Running the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and then reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop app fixed Error 190 for me. Also, temporarily disabling antivirus or VPN during the install can help if something is blocking the update. Does the error appear immediately, or only after you sign in?

I am having this exact same problem, unfortunately. I can update every app through Creative Cloud, but Creative Cloud itself keeps giving me error 190. I’m on Windows 10 22H2, as well.
