free trial [7 day trial expired less than 24 hours after first launch]

When I downloaded the free trail it said that I would have 7 days with this free trial. I just downloaded it today 2/8/2017 around 6:30 pm and then I went to go back into it today 2/8/2017 at 10:00 pm and it said that my trail was over. I do not understand why I would be told that I had 7 days and then I only used it once and now I'm suppose to buy it how does that make any sense. I would like to be able to continue my free 7 day trail so I can make sure that I'm going to be able to do what I need to do.
