Getting an older version of After Effects

Question

How can I get the archived versions from 2021 to 2024 right now? Support kinda brushed me off, and working on the current versions is hard even with high-end design hardware,I really need the old version

There are no official ways to download older versions of After Effects (or other apps for that matter). Only the current one + the one preceding are available (that is, 2026 + 2025 as of today).

Other than that, try to post your questions in the After Effects forum. Maybe you can get some help there with whatever is hard in the current versions:

Learning new tools is hard. I get it.Unless you’re a Teams or Enterprise plan member with an IT dept willing to create a custom package for you, there’s no other way to access legacy product versions.Individual plans support only 2 release versions, the current one— ver 26, and the previous one— ver 25.Consult the product what’s new pages below to help you get up to speed.https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/desktop/what-s-new/whats-new.htmlHope that helps.
