Question

How can we have software that does not need to be updated every single week ?

Hi all. goo day.

I wonder if anyone feels the same about using a software that keeps changing and being updated every single week, making you stay at times for hours behind a normal connection updating constantly what seems never to be finished.

I just cannot mention how much this process stops me from doing anything productive unless I decide to stop updating which in turn at times make the software stop working.

Is there a finished version of Creative Studio which do not run on the cloud or how about you guys start deducting from the cost of the subscriptuion our costs associated with huige data usage and our productive working hours ?

Any formal position highly welcome...
Cheers,

If you simply turn off the "auto-update" settings in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, then you can decide when you want to have your apps update rather than it happening automatically.

Here's Adobe's help page for that:

I run my updates overnight while I sleep.

1. It does not run on the cloud (if it did there would be no uodates to download)

2. It's your choice whether to update. On some computers I have not updated for 5 years.

I keep automatic updates switched off in the Cloud desktop app preferences.

I update manually about once a month when I have time. Keeps me productive.
