How to download Lightroom 6 when I aleady have Lightroom 5

I have a copy of Lightroom 5 on my computer which I think got transferred over when I bought a new computer. Anyway I went out, probably stupidly and bought Lightoom 6. I am absolutely at a loss s to how to install it. Do I have to delete Lightoom 5 first and then install 6?

    no, you can leave lr 5 installed when installing lr 6.

    what problem are you having with lr 6?

    I can’t seem to get myself to the point where I can actually download my serial number . I jeep getting to places where it wants me to BUY. I have already bought!!!
