Incorrectly Flagged as Logged In To Too Many Devices

Creative Cloud has gotten the idea that I am logged into too many devices, and it only ever shows me the two devices I am logged into (my MacBook Pro and my iMac even when I'm not using my Macbook, sometimes evne when it is just down entirely). This has gotten to the point where I have to reset my password every couple of months because CC is insisting my account is being shared and this is very annoying to have to go through when I have deadlines.

For what it's worth: I posted about the exact same topic and got a similar response pointing the finger at something I must be doing. ( even though I have changed my password, set up 2FA, and have not shared my account info )

I have tried quite a few different things and ended up with the same result.

The VPN question on my thread seemed to point to a plausible error. Not running my VPN at all still yielded the same issue.

Running a static location in windows services still yielded the same issue.

Creating a batch script that force quit all adobe .exe and processes ( there are so many of them ) and running it on each computer when I wanted to change machines still yielded the same issue.

An interesting thing of note, is that web-based logins ( like firefly ) will yield a different "Location"

At this point, I have given up. I know I haven't shared my password, changed my password, run 2FA, exited all adobe programs between sessions...and I'm still running into issues.

I'm breathing a somewhat sigh of relief though seeing that other people are having the same issue. Hopefully with enough squeeky wheels they will look into it.

Have you contacted Adobe Support?

Yes I did, they told me to enable 2FA, which I have, and just got the message again.

That was all in my original post. It's probably a good idea to know the full context of what is going on before offering your opinion, which is apparently causing confusion.

again, warning message about excess devices, then screenshot showing 2devices without any other relevant activity -> problem on adobe's end.

eg, if warning message while attempting to sign in with neither device shown, problem on your end.

Can you explain specifically how the issue is timing in regards to the screenshots that I showed?

you misunderstood.  the issue is timing.

warning message about excess devices, then screenshot showing 2devices without any other relevant activity -> problem on adobe's end.

Oh, so even though in your response to me you wrote, "what's running is irrelevant", you, in fact, don't know if perhaps the apps I have open on which devices may, indeed, be relevant?

And I guess when you wrote "IF" like that, in big letters, followed by "that's what your account shows when seeing a too many activated devices warning", that, in reality, you don't believe there is a possibly that it might not be what my account shows when seeing "a too many" activated devices warning?

i didn't program any adobe service. and i have no idea why you mention a faked screenshot.

"what's running is irrelevant"

Because you programmed this service and you know what is and is not relevant in your algorithim?

"IF that's what your account shows when seeing a too many activated devices warning."

I did not fake a screenshot to show something that is not the case. What good would that do me exactly if I did?

what's running is irrelevant.  but your account showing two devices is relevant, IF that's what your account shows when seeing a too many activated devices warning.
