Photoshop CS 6 and Creative Cloud

Hello

I'm considering purchasing a Creative Cloud photography plan, but want to keep my current Photoshop CS 6 and Lightroom 6 applications also. Will installing the latest Creative Cloud version affect these existing applications in any way? I've determined my Mac is compatible with the latested CC requirments.

I have read several messages saying that the current Cloud manager is disabling CS6

As soon as you install any part of the Cloud, even a trial, it replaces your program management system
-if you plan to keep using CS6 (or earlier) you should NOT install a Cloud program, not even a trial
-Read Cloud takes over https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Get-off-the-cloud/td-p/8075485 for some ideas
