Purchase from Regional website

Hi,

If a customer has purchased an Adobe Product from the website of their residing country and a non-US website through a credit card, is the customer liable to pay international charges to the Bank that issued the credit card?

For example, if a customer walks into an Adobe physical store in India and purchases an Adobe product, the product is not treated as an "international purchase" and no further international charges are levied. 

Similarly, if a customer purchases the product off Adobe's India website, it is not an international transaction and no charges in that regard need to be levied is what we understand.

 

Thanks for any advice on the matter.

In countries other than North America, payment is made with Adobe in Ireland, so international payment.

"1. Your Agreement with Adobe.", As described in 1-1.

 

For reference, I order products from the Japanese site and use them, but there is no special fee and the charge is in Japanese yen.

Thank you for clarifying.

 

It would certainly help if Adobe can start selling their subscription plans through regional websites directly or marketplaces like Amazon that have regional online presence. The Bank charges 5% additional interest every month because this is an international transaction currently.
