Reasonable solution for those who bought CS3 for $2000 plus and can no longer use it - Re-activation

I'M WRITING FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS THAT MAY BE IN MY SHOES:

I would like to know what can Adobe do for those of us who spent $2,000 + (small fortune for some; like myself) on CS3 and expected to be able to keep using it; even without update support.  I have to re-install due to older machines no longer working.

Why can't we still be able to use it?  It's not fair to us; especially for those who invested so much money to acquire it.  There should be an option for us to continue using it - without having to upgrade and pay a monthly or yearly subscription.

We are loyal customers.  Please don't shut us out like this.  This should be an option.  Does Adobe care?

>may be able to get it by contacting support

CS3 is completely dead and gone

The Adobe employee who advises volunteer helpers (I am one) said this on 12-18-19
"Adobe employees will no longer be engaging with Creative Suite customers to provide support via chat, phone, or social media"

>advised to do after speaking with somone at Adobe

Adobe is a very large company and, unfortunately, new policy information does not instantly reach all employees

CS3 is completely dead, and nobody can help

Stop spamming the forums with the same post over and over again.  It won't change a thing.

You got to use CS3 for 12+ years.  And as long as you never need to re-install CS3, you could potentially keep using it for another 12 years. But don't upgrade your computer or OS again because re-installing is no longer an option.

With all due respect (Nancy_OShea, Adobe Community Professional, 6m ago), I only did what I was advised to do after speaking with somone at Adobe. You don't have to be so abrupt.  You need to treat people with a little more respect.  I'm not a dog.

Thank you.

I'm sorry you're at the end of the road with CS3.  Adobe customer care cannot help you. This user-to-user forum cannot help you.  There is nothing more to say.

Goodbye & good luck!

The uncertified version of CS3 has been available since 2017, but seems to have been discontinued this month.
Certainly, if you want to keep your old PC, you need an uncertified version, but it's also true that there was a two year grace period.
You may be able to get it by contacting support, but no one can tell.
