Updates are hanging with no activity

Question

I have recently had issues updating my apps. I have tried with the CC app and through a web browser. It shows that they are waiting and nothing else happens. Any ideas to get around this?

Trevorguil, have you tried rebooting the computer or clicking on the cancel button and trying again?  If so, then please check the log files to determine why the update is not initiating.  Information on how to locate any fatal errors can be found at  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-log-files.html.
