Hi, i'm working with my own dreamweaver template (.dwt), so i have a lot of html pages located in nultiple levels (folders and subfolders i mean) depending by this unique template. Now i need to use the attribute srcset in my template, but it is not given a relative url in pages dependent on it. How to fix it?Regards[Moderator edited title for clarity.]

Method I'm looking at here.This is straight-up javascript that even a non-coder like myself can figure out and customize.Before I plug this in, anyone recommend something else? Perhaps something that requires EVEN LESS code, if I'm already using jQuery? Or is this something even you superheroes would use?Thanks!

I'm using the following code to enlarge a background image (without exceeding the limits of the containing object).a.item { display: inline-block; width: 300px; height: 200px; background-size: cover;-webkit-transition: all .5s; transition: all .5s;} a.item:hover {-webkit-transition: all .5s;transition: all .5s;background-size: 110%;}I opted to do it this way because the transform:scale method (which auto-animates) apparently cannot be applied solely to a background image; as it will affect the whole container. The downside of the background-size method is that it just jumps from one state to another in a single step (despite the addition of 'transition: all.5s' which I'd hoped would animate the tween, but seemingly has no effect whatsoever on latest FF/IE).So the real question here is... is it even POSSIBLE to animate a change in 'background-size' or am I wasting my time trying?

Est-il possible d'exporter ce document pour que toutes les fonctionnalités fonctionnent ? Quand je l'exporte sous SWF je n'ai que les animations qui fonctionnent, quand je l'exporte sous PDF interactif je n'ai que mes hyperliens qui fonctionnent... mais il me faudrait les 2 à la fois. So something odd has happened. All of the external links for this section of the page are adding extra code to the link address. This is something new as this page was working just fine before. For a challenge, I tried coding my homepage from scratch and it is now a bit of a mess. It was designed for a desktop but it looks awful on an iPad and phone. I can't really get my head around when to use the various types of positioning. I can't select+drag+option code in the code view area and in the Find and Replace area, it only works in Design view. It even shows the green plus sign while doing that, but it only moves the selected code, it doesn't leave a copy behind. DW CC 19, macOs High Sierra 10.13.6.

Hello everyoneI'm making websites with SCSS files using 2019 version of Dreamweaver for Mac.Compiling SCSS files had been going fine until I changed the name of a .scss file to start with an underscore (e.g. _global.scss).Now I notice any .scss file with an underscore at the beginning of its name doesn't get compiled at all by Dreamweaver.Given the convention of using the underscore in the name of .css files to be imported, isn't there a way to convert such .scss files using Dreamweaver?I don't want to resort to using a third-party app for the sake of naming .scss files with an underscore.Some help would be appreciated.Thank you in advance,Ead

Is there a wildcard for any type of and amount of characters in javascript?I'm building a javascript client-side UK postcode validator using javascript, and can get the validation to pass  as long as a user types the exact amount and type of characters. However, UK postcodes are not all the same amount of characters, however the last four characters are always the same format which is:space | numeral | alpha | alphaSo I have JS wildcards looking for this format at the end of the post code as this:\s\d\D\DAnd this works fine, but it's the fist part of the postcode which is awkward because it can be two, three or four characters long. So a postcode could look like any of the following:A1 1ABA12 1ABAB12 1ABAs you can see, the last four characters will always be 'space numeral alpha alpha', but the first characters can be pretty much anything!So what is the wildcard that will looking for any amount of and type of character?I've tried looking on so many sources, but am not getting the

I've been using Dreamweaver since it was introduced. While I can edit code, I am not a coder by trade and have absolutely no desire or need to be one.Am I missing something or does the new version of Dreamweaver completely alienate people who don't code? Hi People.As you know, Bootstrap elements are locked so flippin flamboyants like me cant go and muck things up...However, they are not styled very nicely....I have been playing with the "NAVBAR" element which I REALLY want to use in a responsive site.I love it that when the screen size drops, the "NAVBAR" switches to a drop-down menu thing...But, it does not fit in with the colour scheme...I have managed to learn how to re-style the actual portion that has the buttons, etc. etc.But that leaves me with the background out of style...I cannot seem to be able to add a CSS to change the colour of the background...I have been in and had a look thru the code and found a bit that styled it as LIGHT, or DARK, etc. and O did change it to a DARK colour, but it still does not match the site.If I cannot change the colour to match the background of the site, the alternative is to change the background of the site to match the NAVBAR....NOT IDEAL !!!I have attached a screenshot JPEG to give you a mor

Ever since version DW 19.0 syncing with the remote fails. DW 18.2 works perfectly. I have downloaded DW 20.0 (15050) as of today and it shows the dialog box with results. If you try to modify the action by clicking the dialog box, it disappears. Subsequent sync do not present a dialog box, as if nothing has changed. If I close DW 20.0 and start DW 18.2, Everything works. I have tried uninstalling all versions, removing preferences and reinstalling starting with DW 18.2 to confirm its function. I then installed DW 20.0 and skipped DW 19.0 because I know that it also did not work. This happens on all computers, (4 different, 3 with win 10 1809, and one that is Insider current release.) it is not machine specific.I reported this as a bug under DW19.0 .The DW "next" 15030 release would sometimes sync properly, but you couldn't interact with the dialog box. I have just reverted to DW 18.2 since it works. Guess my monthly subscription is not useful for DW.

Hello, I have several sites on a leased server. The process is usually the same. But recently I can not set up a site. I know that the FTP Address, Username, password, Root Directory and Web URL are correct but it always fails with "An FTP error occurred - Cannot make the connect to host". I have tried Port 21 with FTP and Port 22 with FTPS. I have tried deleting and recreated it many times, same result.  If I take the same info and use an FTP client such as Fetch, I can connect instantly.  I am using Dreamweaver CS6. Thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction.

Even as a non-programmer - with your help - I've been able to use my .htaccess file various different ways... sometimes to shorten the path of long urls, sometimes to redirect to the secure version of the site... always works great.Until I change my mind about something and remove it from the .htaccess file, because Chrome keeps acting like it's still in there. Forcing a reload of everything on the page doesn't seem to help.Even if I hollow my .htaccess file out for the purposes of troubleshooting, it seems Chrome remembers every RewriteCond forever. (I tested it a month later and it was still redirecting, so it never expires).Is there a way for me to flush everything Chrome knows about a specific website? In other words, treat it like it's the first time it's being pulled up, without affecting the notes it has on the other sites.PS: Is Chrome particularly stubborn about this, or are all browsers? I know Firefox and Edge don't redirect after I removed those lines, but I had never teste
