Hi,In the image below, Mobile View is seen on "Chrome on Desktop".But it's not seen on "Chrome on iPhone".How to fix the problem?(I want to make Mobile View seen on iPhone.)Hosun Kang

Bonjour,Cela doit faire bien 6 mois maintenant que je ne peut plus utiliser Dreamweaver pour coder. Dès la création d'un nouveau fichier, mon curseur se met à clignoter toute les 2s avec l'icône de chargement et cela m’empêche d'écrire le moindre caractère. Je ne peut pas accéder à quoi que ce soit hormis le bouton pour quitter. J'ai tenté évidemment des désinstallations (avec suppression des paramètres) et suis désespérer de voir que les màj n'apporte rien.Je fonctionne sous Windows 10 tout est à jour, performances plutôt bonne (core i5, 16Go de ram, ssd, GTX 950M...)Auriez vous une idée ? Sinon je mets ce logiciel à la poubelle.

(There's an almost-zero percent chance that there will ever be a 3rd language, so we're talking strictly alternating between 2 languages.)I was thinking of a link at the top of the page that triggers a (PHP?) event that will reload "self" except with "_alt" at the end of the file name -- so "domain.com/page.php" becomes "domain.com/page_alt.php" -- and vice versa if already on a page ending with "_alt" (so it removes it to revert to original language version of the page).Is this as good a method as any other?If so, what would that syntax look like?Thanks!

Hi,I know it has been discusse many times, but not recently. Dreamweaver CC 2019 latest version. Core-i7 5730k, 32GB RAM, GTX980.So I am trying to get some help:When I start the preview in browser from bottom right, it takes about 5 minutes to load the page and it does not show css, only the html.....Waiting for 127.0.0.0Is there a solution for this ?I have moved the files to an SSD, I have reinstalled and deleted the preferences folder in %appdata% and so on, but no luck.Thanks for looking into it.Best regardsBeat

As Dreamweaver is still being sold and updated, is it going to update its Server Behaviours to be php7 compatible by way of MySQLI or PDO?Dreamweaver was created to make building dynamic database sites easy. However as all the Server Behaviours are now deprecated and useless - what is the point of it?I understand there are a couple of commercial extensions from Webassist and DMXZone that can handle this - but I'd simply like to ask Adobe if this functionality is ever going to be incorporated into DW, yes or no? How does one ask Adobe this question?Chris

I have a competitor site where the text cannot be copied. Seems very unusual. I would like to achieve this. Not a flash site, and this person is very SEO savvy. Any ideas how? The text can be copied if one goes to the code, but not from the regular web page.Also on her page, the links don't have an underline when one scroll above them, only hand symbol which is nice.  Is that good or bad? How is that achieved. Thanks!

Hi guys, im working on a breakout game for an assignment at school. I have all the code done and my game works, now i'm just changing it up a bit and adding my own touch. I have been trying for the last couple days to change the moving ball to an image but i have been unsuccessful. I'm totally new at this and recently decided to dive right in and build a website. I know better now that I shouldn't have modified the bootstrap.css file, but of course I did! So what now? I didn't break anything that I can tell and I didn't change much, but I can't exactly remember all the changes I made to it. Any issues with keeping it the way it is or should I try and revert it ? Hello everyone!This is my website: www.sheilaschaefer.com, I have two problems that I am not able to see where I can put it right, well I did try, but with no avail.1. contact in the navbar will not scroll down to the contact form page in the page (the other three navbar items scroll nicely though);2. The input fields for the contact form is white text with a white background.  I went into custom.css to change the text dark blue for the input text, but it is still white.  I had followed a step by step tutorial on youtube for  this really nice contact form.Please can anyone help me in putting this right by letting me know what I cannot for the life of me see?Thank youSheila

I have been 'gifted' a widget which I need to include on a website I'm updating. It's a javascript link to an external resource which writes a link to a css stylesheet into the website to give position/presentation to the widget.The link to the stylesheet is written at the foot of the page in a div containing other code relating to the widget. Is it now considered ok for a stylesheet link to be written anywhere within the html code these days?I ask because I want to include my own css linked stylesheet to over-ride some stuff I don't much like about the widget. I was just going to include the over-ride css in in the global css file BUT if I can just start including css stylesheet file links all over the shop, should I bother?Any opinons on this practice? I was under the impression that it was still best practice to link the stylesheets in the <head></head> of the page but maybe things have moved on and I've miss that information. My laptop is not as reliable as it was so I have put my DW 5.5 website onto a new desktop. Despite copying all the settings and password over to the new machine, it keeps showing as FTP Error and I'm unable to use it.I have been in touch with my hosting company who have written "the FTP feature is working, and based on the information in the Screenshot it looks like you have everything setup correctly, so we need to change the password, at least temporarily, do I have your permission to do so?"This is my only website and I'm anxious that I'll end up with conflicting passwords on both laptop and desktop . HiWhenever I use Dreamweaver, it randomly crashed on me, and there are some major glitches in the CSS Designer, sometimes the panel disappears, but if you continue typing, the data remains.Carl

I'm running DW 18.2 and my site's main page is pretty long with a lot of images. For some time now...if I'm anywhere within the page and I insert an image, break,  or table it 'jumps' back to the top of the page...rather than staying in place. This gets very annoying as I have to scroll back down the page with every insert I make. Any idea if this is correctable through a setting?

I am trying to complete a Dreamweaver tutorial but can't get past the first step of the video but the application has previously been opened by someone else and I cannot follow the bouncing ball. I need to be able to "start with a new or existing folder" as the app opens but I don't get that prompt or know where to find this option.Is it possible to reset the application as if never used?Reinstall is not an option as it is a work PC.I hope this makes sense...Thanks!

I know these invisible files are there because I can grab them individually where they are located in the list and they appear, but unless I can see them all, I can't find the pages I want to edit.   How can I make them visible again; this occurred after I reinstalled DW6.  And it's not most of the files in the website, but one long set within a single folder that only half appears.

Hello, I'm having trouble launching dreamweaver. I've installed it via creative cloud tool, I've installed it via the website i.e. my backend control panel if you will. Every time it tries to launch I can see it in my processes tab, but it gets up to 7mb and stops there. I've tried restoring preferences, by pressing ctrl, shift, windows key, and double-clicking the dreamweaver.exe executable, nothing happens by the program tries to launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've uninstalled, rebooted, and ran the cleaner tool, rebooted and tried to reinstall. Every time I get the same reaction from the program. I've tried to delete the cache file, but it's not there. Strangely enough, I can see the dreamweaver 2017 folder, the dreamweaver 2018 folder, but no dreamweaver 2019 folder. Also, I can't delete the 2017 or 2018 folders as it says they are not there, even though it shows them. I can go through and delete the individual files inside those folders, which I did, but I cannot delete

My site uses some Adobe Edge Web Fonts and they all seem to display as intended in a variety of browsers and browsers window sizes from my desktop. They also display properly in device preview (including on a smartphone).After uploading my site to a test area I checked the font display on a smartphone and none of the fonts are displaying properly. Have I missed something?

I'm having issues embedding OAM files from Animate CC  as animated compositions in Dreamweaver. I've tried both 2018 and 2019 versions. I haven't had a problem before.  I tried re-posting an older html 5 composition that had worked previously and it no longer works. I believe the problem is either with the "OAM export" in Animate CC or the "insert>html> animated composition" in Dreamweaver. Mostly I use DW to manage files locally, but for serious manipulations I prefer to use my fully featured file manager.In the filemanager - of course - I see the subfolders "_notes".I would like to hide them. The easiest way would be to change the name pattern from "_notes" to ".notes", because by default all files/folders which beginn with a "." are hidden (in the filemanager).Is it possible to configure DW to change the name pattern?Thanks.
