I'm working on adding new, textured, background colors to my site. On my home page at Suzette Boulais: Home Page, I can't find where the original web designer added the color to these two solid colored cells that I'm trying to change to a textured color. Every time I try to click on the cells to change the background color, it changes the entire background of the entire page. Thanks for any thoughts you might have about how to add a new textured color using CSS to these two cells I'm showing outlined in yellow (as working in HTML somehow escapes me).

Hi, All.Have a new client who currently is hosting its website on a shared server with GoDaddy but wants to move it to a dedicated server at Bluehost or maybe SiteGround, neither of which I have ever used. I recall past discussions giving an OK for Bluehost but am a little leary of what I've read about SiteGround. Does anyone have any thoughts on the real world pros/cons of either service? Below is the screen shot of the error I get when I try to connect to the FTP server. When I first installed dreamweaver I was able to connect and transfer all the files I needed to my computer. After that I have never successfully connected again. There is also a webpage on this server that I can no longer access. However, I can access it outside of my network at a neighbors house. I have worked for about 2 weeks with support from the router company and we made a fair amount of changes and still nothing. I am doing volunteer work and trying to maintain a website. Any suggestions are welcomed I am frustrated.

Hello folks.Can some one tell me how to change the background colour of the Bootstrap Navbar in DW CC 18.1? I have tried adding CSS as a separate style and also tried by taking over the existing .navbar CSS in the new stylesheet.Thanks Joe

I apologise if this question has been asked before but I have been hunting for days and have not found any template which suites dreamweaver or my needs.I have been asked to create a website / news blog for our art group and I can not achieve the design I want easily.I have tried to 'poach' ideas from the net but obviously the vital bits are not available.I need a site which will have a predominantly newspaper front page but then expand to show different peoples artwork on their own page.I've tried with my own design but they don't like that.So I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could direct me to any free - or cheap dreamweaver friendly responsive templates which would possibly be suitable for my / our needs.Thank you in advanceTerry

Can someone please help me with this? Web slice lines are showing through on my web page in Chrome and Opera, but not in Explorer. I've searched and tested over and over but nothing really works. I'm trying to center five columns inside a div. Basically, I've got a row of icons with names under each icon that I need to center. If it were 2, 3, 4, or 6 columns I wouldn't be having this issue. But with 5 it shifts all the way to the left and I can't seem to get them to center.This is a generic html to try and display what I'm talking about. Hi,I created a new page https://www.ultimategaming.me.uk/space-marines/seven/elite/command-squad.htm and inserted menu-side.lbi from the Assets panel and saved the page.After refreshing the page in my browser the menu-top.lbi links do not work? Hi,I'm using Bootstrap along with my own style sheets. I'd like to see only my classes (or a particular one) in the Class area of the Properties toolbar instead of a million Bootstrap classes. How do I do this? As it is, DW is useless if it's going to display all million classes every time I'm looking for one of mine.Also, when I do hit that Class dropdown in the Properties toolbar (which I have on my second monitor), the bottom scroll arrow is below the bottom of my screen so I can't get to it to click.Thanks,Matt

hello there. I started coding a website back in december, and since then i have moved my files around a little, I have since linked with site back to it's local folder.  The dreamweaver live view displays everything but the image seem to show as unlinked? in browser preview, everything works as it should.I am just wondering if there is a fix for displaying the images in my dreamweaver live view? Every time I try and create a hyperlink or email link using insert, when I click OK, Dreamweaver CC 2018 crashes so I cannot create links. Using iMac macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Pity really just bought a new iMac and paying a subscription and can't create a website. Only software installed so far are the Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, Kapersky, Firefox and Google Chrome!Any advice much appreciated.ThanksMike

I am a student and working with Bootstrap for the first time.   The text for our class is from 2014 and the instructions for this week's assignment are for using fluid grid layout.  I have to figure out how to bridge the two and am wondering if anyone out there has experience with this.  My first question is when creating the bootstrap, do I attach the the two css files that I currently have created in my project?  DW asked me to overwrite a couple of things (which I now can't remember) and that makes me nervous.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I have 3 things in my Sources menu - ALL Sources, boilerplate.css and su.styles.css.   I really want to understand if I am supposed to attach them to the bootstrap and if I do, will it mess up anything for the other parts of the project website. I don't know what else to post, so if more info is needed to answer my questions please let me know.

Is there a way to capture a form submitter's IP address and include it in an email that is generated upon form submission?I wonder if this would be possible on either the client or server side.

Hello!I am having issues getting my header aligned with my border, see image. I've made sure the pixel widths are the same, but for some reason it's not working. I've checked all of the padding, margins, alignments and everything is set to "0" and centered. It is also happening with the footer. HELP!Thank you!

After this most recent Dreamweaver update, I am experiencing corruption and CSS execution distortion in my .html files when I insert the background-image: url() tag in the attached CSS file.  It does not matter what file I use as the background or if I am on a different computer.  I have even retyped both files and checked them for errors.  Has anyone experienced this?  If so, what is the solution?

I an using Dreamweaver CS6 version 12 Build 5808I built templates for my site and then built pages based upon those templates. everything has been working fine until earlier this week. When I make changes to the template files and save the template, Dreamweaver does not prompt me to update the child pages. I even went into the menu: modify --> Template --> Update Template... I then picked the template that I made changes to and told it to apply the changes. It told me 17 pages examined and 0 updated. I then tried to make the changes in the page directly but that part of the page is locked by a template. I had to modify the 17 pages in notepad to get the changes to the child pages.I started updating the templates because there were some broken links identified by Dreamweaver. I had to make the changes using notepad because the changes to the template would not push. Once the changes were made and verified as complete, Dreamweaver continued to identify the same broken links that ha
