Hi,I've been using the SCSS compiler in DW for a while. Recently, it just stopped working. I double checked, and all of the settings are still set properly. It's set to auto-compile on save, the source and output directories are still set correctly, etc. When I save the .scss file, or right-click on the scss file and select 'compile', nothing happens. No .css file is created. I've been searching for days, and can't find a solution.It worked fine for months, then suddenly stopped working. Anybody have any solutions for this?DW Version: 18.0, Build 10136OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Hello, I started creating this website (this is my first one) and I am running into a couple of problems. the first being that after i create my events section my bottom navigation and footer keep pasting over my events sections. I tried z-index, having footer at bottom:0, and have changed the height of the body, nothing seems to work. Also both of my navigation bars will not go all the way to the left and I want them to fill up the whole space. Lastly there are these >>>> that even after I continue to delete them and are not showing up in my html code, they continue showing in my live view. HTML Tidy is not a good alternative for me, even though I can use it through a couple different text editors. It messes with the code slightly. Is there an extension out there that can give me more control over the pretty-printing of HTML, and possibly do so on multiple files at once?

Just downloaded Dream Weaver CC free trial but cannot open DW CC, keeps on "validating license" and then asking me to "Renew Subscription" ????

Hopefully this will be an easy one to answer because I'm just doing something foolish.I've set up my remote testing server with the root directory set as public_html/demo/website-name and Dreamweaver will happily connect and let me upload files. However, real-time prieview doesn't work. It puts the relevant files on the server but the browser just comes up with a 'page not found' error. If I change the root directory to be just public_html then it works fine and the page loads but obviously the files are not where I want them to be.What am I doing wrong?On a related note I thought that an alternative would be to view the local files in a browser by right-clicking on a file in Dreamweaver and selecting 'Open in browser' but that just seems to do the same as real-time preview - ie. puts files on the server and gives me the same page not found error. Is there really no way to prieview a local file from Dreamweaver?

I've set some links to open up a modal window on click but when the modal window closes I noticed the background image of the page "jumps" a bit.  The image grows slightly then goes back to original shape.  Really strange, I'm using the built-in Bootstrap Modal class to open the window.To replicate:URL:Supreme - VISION Click on a right side bar item http://prntscr.com/fzb8xn Then close the window and you'll see the background move slightly http://prntscr.com/fzb9qf Could the movement be caused by the modal class telling the browser to remove scrolling then once the modal is closed the scrollbars reappear making it look like the image is shifting, or some type of overflow setting on the modal class perhaps?Here's what I have:.modal {  position: fixed;  top: 0;  right: 0;  bottom: 0;  left: 0;  z-index: 1050;  display: none;  overflow: hidden;  -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;  outline: 0;}.modal.fade .modal-dialog {  -we

I have a wordpress website/theme that I'm editing in Dreamweaver. I keep making changes to the css that look great in the Live Preview window of dreamweaver, but when I look in the browser; it appears completely different. What could be the cause of this? It's not a cache issue; I've already checked that.

Dreamweaver SWF does not play in browser but playing in Live View. Please help.

I have several sites set up in my Dreamweaver, and on just one of the sites, when I go to delete a file, I don't get the dialog box that pops up and shows me all the pages that reference that file, instead I get just the "Are you sure you want to delete? box like it is an orphan file, though it is not. Does this for any file on the site.Anyone have any ideas why only one (out of my 20+) sites would not check for reference links before allowing me to delete?Thanks,John

Greetings,I am using the latest DW CC 2017 on Window 8.1 64bit. My site is defined, I have a linked stylesheet in the proper location. Whenever I attempt to use Quick Edit I get the message "No Quick Edit available for current cursor position".When using the Brackets editor on the same web page the Quick Edit feature works correctly.Is there something I have overlooked in DW CC 2017 configuration ?There are previous discussions from last year suggesting to file a bug report. I had to rebuild my site cache because my file folders would not stay collapsed. Now every time I move to a different site to work I need to reinstall its .ste files. Luckily I saved my backup from when I rebuilt my site cache.I've never had this happen before, and my work flow is taking a hit.How do I get my .ste info to 'stick'?Version Info: Dreamweaver CC 2018 - build 10136, MacOS 10.13.3, MacbookPro  Retina 15 inch Late 2013.Thanks!

Hi!I've been using Dreamweaver CC 2015 for quite some time now with my 4K display but I can't get CC 2017 to work correctly on this screen.I turn off Windows DPI Scaling for Dreamweaver because I need the actual 1:1 pixel scale to work with my web designs but the application windows won't fit correctly. It's nearly impossible to use. Is this a known issue? Does it work ok on a Mac with 5K screen?Thanks.

Not talking about commenting code, but enabling visitors to add comments that I can reply to, in a page that I have already built.I only need something very simple, preferably no ads, and I have found this jQuery plugin: jquery-comments by Viima It probably serves my purpose, that is, if I can manage to configure it. (I don't know javascript)Does anyone have a better suggestion?I also wonder if there are any security risks or other potential problems involved, apart from spammers.

Has anyone else had this problem. I setup the very basics of SASS compiler:- Enable Auto Compilation on Save+ Same Folder as Source and set a source folderIt will sometimes just stop compiling and I have to restart DW or reboot, very annoying.Am using up to date Mac DW CC.
