I am trying to move dreamweaver to another computer but having difficulty registrating online and also when I call the 1-800 number.Can anyone help.

I am new to Dreamweaver and HTML. I am trying to insert a PDF document into a webpage, and have tried using each of the below codes:<object data="Name.pdf" TYPE="application/x-pdf" title="Name" width="1140" height="1500">   </object> <embed src="Name.pdf" width="1140" height="1500"></embed>A gray placeholder appears, as if to load the pdf, but instead the puzzle piece icon appears, with the words, "This plug-in is not supported."Thank you.

I am trying to upload spreadsheets from the wholesaler's FTP to my e-commerce site. Should I add the wholesaler's FTP with my login info as a server in dreamweaver? Can I access these files? How do I access the directory? Thanks

Hello,I'm new to Dreamweaver. I've been going through some tutorials to learn it.I've been having troubles w/ the "Extract" panel.  From what I understand one has to always be signed into the creative cloud to work with it, even if one has local psd files they want to access.....is this correct?.....does the extract panel work in local/offline mode....as in, can one just upload a psd off their  local HD/desktop, WITHOUT being signed in to the creative cloud, and the file being only available onthe local HD?I'm asking because I often work in locations where there is no internet availability, and I have local PSD files on my HD that I want to bring in using extract, w/out having to be signed in to CC, or having access to the web.....is this possible?.....if not are there any workarounds??thanks,kiko

I have a customer that needs a MLM online system to collect sign up info for reps, social security numbers,  d.o.b., and when they sign up to purchase the kit.Ecommerce of products for customers to purchase, when the customers order I'd like it to have a spot for a hostess name to be entered & orders come thru quickly so we can verify orders. If we can have a system that gives us party links,  so people can be directed to a specific link that would be good but not necessary. Also need the site to have the ability to calculate commission &  pay out commission.Can this be done in Dreamweaver with Business Catalyst? I need direction please!MaryAnn

Hello!I'm building templates that will use dynamic cross-reference code for the URLs. In the template file the link begins with a $ character:<a href="${clickthrough('description')}"></a>However, when I create a document from the template the $ sign is removed, and can't be easily added because a lot of these exist in non-editable regions (example below). Is there a way I can maintain that character in documents created from the template?<a href="{clickthrough('description')}"></a>

Hello, I am building a site off of one of the Dreamweaver CSS templates. Also, when I view this page on a mobile device, all of the text moves to the far left and shrinks.I am looking for not just the correction, but also why it is happening so I can better my understanding of this css. I've just created a new website for my business with an older version of DW (CS5.5) and when I do the multiscreen view, it shows that it should shrink/be responsive, but when I pull it up on my phone, it is just the regular desktop version. Hi there when I start Dreamweaver shortly after starting I get a screen pop up say Adobe Dreamweaver CC2017 has stopped working.A problem caused the program to stop working correctly .Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.But window dose nor respond to it.Can anyone help me please.Thanks Jeff

When I see my pictures in Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Bridge they are very sharp (made with Fujifilm X-T2). But when I make them smaller because I have to publish them on the net, and give them a width of 1250 pixels and publish them with Dreamweaver, their sharpness is bad. They look much bigger on my website than in Dreamweaver. How can I fix that?

Hi,I'm new in Adobe Dreamweaver, and I should find a place to save a document from Dreamweaver. At first, I chose my Documents-folder on my MacBook Air (mid 2013), but then I got a warning from Dreamweaver that if I save that file to the normal Documents-folder, it will "crash" with my folder from Lightroom. I don't know why I got this warning, but I think it warned me that if I save that file to Documents-folder, it will cause connections problems or something problems with the connection. So I chose to save my file from Dreamweaver in a folder with some other folders, and inside a new folder in the first folder.This seems a little bit unsafe. It's a little bit creepy for me. I'm new at this. I'm doing photography, and it's a little bit creepy that the first message I get is that I can destroy or crash / make conflict with the connection with Lightroom. I don't know I'm nervous for this, but I hope someone will help me or guide me. I have fixed it and the folder is placed inside anoth

Very new to Dreamweaver, apologies in advance for any noob behavior.  Searched all over for this answer but had a hard time finding anything.I'm currently trying to create a form on one of my pages.  I've created a div of with an established width and placed my form inside of it.  In other tutorials, I've seen where the length of the form's fields could be customized by setting their width to certain percentage of the parent div ... but when I try it and adjust the width, the fields are completely unresponsive.  The fields simply remain at the default width.I'm trying to create a form like the one in this tutorial:How to create a web form in Dreamweaver | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials ... where the fields are all equal length.  If anyone has tips or can point me in a good direction, I'd appreciate it!

Hi Adobe Forum,   Is there a simple way to insert a Background Image Into a Table, just the table, Not The Entire Document Window, Using DW CS4.  I have been spinning my wheels trying to do it.  All I can do is get the Background Image to fill up the entire document window, not just the table.THanks,Ken

I'm trying to update this website for my work (I didn't design the website) and I noticed that the home page "shakes" or "jitters" when it's being loaded in or when you refresh the page. It only does that in Chrome (version 58) and Edge (version 38.14) for the homepage. Other websites on those browser doesn't have the effect.
