I was told it may be better for me to start a new discussion on each of the questions I asked in a prior thread titled: How to update hundreds of html bootstrap pages in Dreamweaver?How can I install PHPmyAdmin to be used with Dreamweaver in my website?  I have tried researching this and have not found any conclusive answers.It is my understanding PHPmyAdmin needs to be extracted and put in the root of my website.  I will give an example of the URL’s I am dealing with. Hi again I wrote this 3-4 months ago: Our domain host One.com recently changed their infrastructure on their site and since then I have been unable to update our website.Pziecina then replied: "This is a problem that you should discuss with your host. If they have changed something then it is obviously something they have done, and not a problem with dreamweaver".I have of course been in a dialogue with One.com since then, but they can't solve the problem.Later I found out, that I could upload one file at the time manually to One.com by clicking on them from my local files, but I can not synchronize my whole site at once to One.com. It is not acceptable, since it takes a long time, when I have many files to upload. Does anyone of you have an idea about, why I can update one file at the time while I am unable to synchronize the whole site at once?Is it possible, that my Dreamweaver CS4 program has some problems or is it most likely, that the problem is situated at One.com?Looking very m

I have recently taken over for someone retiring in a local city. Trying to absorb all i can about Dreamweaver. I need to link multiple pdfs to a single text for the year for which the pdfs are about. Am i missing something on how to do this?

Sorry, I left and didn't see answers until now.We need to make pop outs for the (2) Direct Mail subscribe forms below. They will be applied to pages on our DW website.You asked what I mean by a pop out ? My code for the subscribe form can only be embedded. That means there's a black subscribe on the page that needs to be clicked to get to the form. I want the form to pop out instead of being embedded in the page. I assume that if user doesn't want to subscribe, they can x out of the subscribe and go on from there. I'm a newbie and don't recognize the possible solutions that were offered. Could I pay to have these forms turned into pop outs ?Basically, I want the form to be in their face before they can proceed, so they can choose whether to fill it or not. Isn't that what a pop out is ? When the form is embedded, they have to click to even look at it. I'll wait o see your answers on line. Please please tell me someone can do this for me. Do the included templates resize for different devices?

I see it is done. It does not seem to work for me.  My server does read PHP because I am able to insert PHP code in other PHP pages.I will be using CC2017.Thanks for your help.PEOJ

This needs to be done in HTML. I don't have an IT department that will install mySQL.  In the past I have used Dreamweaver templates.  CC2017 doesn't allow the ability to use PHP with Bootstrap and Templates.  You can't create HTML templates with bootstrap either.  So what to do? I have hundreds of pages in my current setup but would like to use Bootstrap.I also want to put PHP include files in HTML but that won't work either.  If it does, I don't know how to work around this.  I know enough code to create this. It just won't work in HTMLHope I have expressed myself clearly.PEOJ

1)           DW and AN 2017 are suppose to be working for all devices. 2)           In AN the game scale perfectly. If I click the start button I can play the game.3)           If a play the OAM in DW (on my desktop) the game is working also.4)           But if a try to click the button with my tablet Samsung, nothing is happening. Dear team, I was wondering if it is possible to differentiate between changing the code coloring in PHP for C++-style comments "//" and Shell-style comments "#" individually... I read through https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/customize-code-coloring.html​ but found no answer to this.

I am using the Dreamweaver Extension CSS Menu Maker.  I downloaded the program and installed it in Dreamweaver.The programéextension is easy to use and I created the menu and inserted it in my page.  I uploaded the page.  The menu looks great but none of the links work- either internal or externalIn the Menu Maker program I clicked on the check box open new page, typed in the link in the dialog box above this check box.   After that I clicked on insert.  The menu appeared and looks great but does not work.ThanksAlan

Most developers have their own bag of bad habits they carry with them since forever. In my case, one of them is being unnecessarily loyal to the "px" measurement unit. So I've decided to take the "em" plunge.First thing I learned there, is that it doesn't make much sense to use "px" values on margins, padding, line-height or letter-spacing when all the font sizes are set by magnification level. In other words, once you start using "em", it's just logical to go all the way with it. If you decide you want that title font larger in the future, you're going to want those other 3 values to follow suit. I can't even think of a scenario when you wouldn't.So, "em" all the way, right?What about images, which would be placed via Div backgrounds... could the canvas area maintain its proportionate size via "em", or would I have to go "%" there?Which leads us to my final question...Since "em" is just a fancier "%" why not use "%" for everything?PS: I've read what all these units do in theory, I'm l

Hello,I have recently found a problem whenever I open my Dreamweaver (CS6) it happens to crash when I try to create a new html or open a recent one. I really need help fixing this because if I hand it into our IT Department I won't get it back for months! Therefore putting me behind on all assessment. I won't be able to uninstall/reinstall the program at all as they have access over high commands like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Daniel

I created a header banner which is 1150pix wide. I enter it as 100% wide in html. I have 17 link buttons in 2 rows under this (consisting of contact, home, and all product categories). i then created an editable region over the full width of screen under these) and I have saved this as my template. should my Shop name banner be placed inside the header tags? My problem is, I want to enter 4 columns wide x 6 rows deep, to insert images & text in, for template page 1, but when I drag the scrubber to the left, to see how my small screen will look, my 17 buttons have become a row down the left and my images have all gone down under that again.what am i doing wrong and where do i go from here??My images are 140 pix wide for 1 template page,   200pix wide for 2nd template page and     350pix wide for the 3rd template page.How many columns wide should I be placing on my page for these sizes, do you think???All help and guidance greatly appreciated. I'm creating an order form for rubber stamps. I need the form to display the font, size, centered, etc., as the customer inputs their information. Where is the button now for hiding Live View display in DW2017? This hides outlines etc in Live View. The shortcut is ctrl-alt h but it's one I need to keep looking up. The button at the top right of live view in 2015 was better for me but now it's been relocated to somewhere I can't find it,

I created a logo for my client in Illustrator and 'exported for screens' with a transparent background. I've tried doing this creating a PNG file and also with an SVG file.The problem I have is that when I use either of these files in Dreamweaver the image ends up having a faint gray outline, like the border of the artboard from Illustrator. This appears both in 'Live view' on my computer, but also when I preview it on my iPad or iPhone. If I 'place' this same image into InDesign the border does not appear. If I open it in Photoshop, the border does not appear. I've read suggestions about eliminating the border in Photoshop, but since it does not appear there, doesn't seem to apply to this situation. I've also read that I should make sure that my Illustrator artboard is not aligned on partial pixels - did that, didn't help.Here is a screenshot of what I'm seeing. Here's an example of how to get code colouring working on a per language basis, note this is different to the per file type basis, the scenario is  you have multiple languages in the same file and you want to distinguish each language with its own colours. CC 2017.1The Replace with box appears to have an input  limit of 1232 characters.  The Find in box does not appear to have that limit. Can you please remove the character restriction.Nancy

I'm having a lot of trouble formatting one of my Web forms.  When I generate the HTML code for it and paste it into my Muse document, there is way too much space between the entry fields and boxes when I publish it.  How can I edit the CSS to get rid of the spaces?Example: http://www.siefer.com/free-issue-sr.html

What width of images are you using, assuming you are using 3 - desktop, tablet, mobile?I just saw one of the companies I follow are now using srcset, so its time for me to follow. I think. Mind they are not using it very well as they are just resizng the orginal images width (quick and very dirty) so by time it gets to tablet and smart phone it looks stupid. The only way is to individually crop the image if you want to maintain a sensible ratio of height to width.At this stage I'm not concerned with retina, just need to keep it simple to try and save on download time.Os
