Several years ago, while editing an HTML page, I could select multiple images and drag them into the HTML page, and all would come over.  Recently (about three years ago), I can select several images but only the first one comes over and gets put into the HTML page. I now have to select the images in Finder, drag them into Dreamweaver, and then have t edit out the pathname. Anyway, is there a way to drag multiple jpgs from the "local files" listing on the right panel into the HTML file being edited?

Title says it all.using DW CS6 fluid grid. but I copy pasted 90 pages of a wordpress site to be formated. the thing is it is already numbered and lettered.So I make ol of it all and now I want to edit the list properties, as I do not like 1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 etc I prefer a.1.i etchow to edit the list properties in dw cs6, as the normal way does not work: select <ol> format list properties.is there an update to that removes this bug?

Going round in circles on Dreamweaver 21.3.  Mac OS 11.6.8. Error on opening DW: "Local root folder does not exist".  I then go to Manage Sites, select my website and edit.  It is already pointing at the correct folder, but I have tried "browse for folder" to select the folder again, with no luck: I can "Save" and then when I click "Done" I get the same error message again.  It gives me the option to "Manage Sites" again, but when I click this button, the box disappears.  But nothing happens: I still cannot see or open any of my website pages for editing ("page not found"). My site is on an external hard disk, where I have permission to read and write.  File vault is off.  I've always used Dreamweaver to edit and upload my website.  I've tried using the other versions of Dreamweaver available (20.2.1 and 19.2.1) with the same issue.

Wonderful update again changing settings to cause links in pages to be changed to root instead of relative links when resaving pages.  No adobe support causing needless time loss in changing individual links when resaving pages. Have used dreamweaver for 20 years but it is losing ground. Only reason I still use it is to speed things up when working on pages I can clink on a section of the page to take me to the code point.

HiI'm using Dreamweaver (Version 21.3 ) on a Mac and can no longer find the option for arranging my files by date modified.  Is everyone having the same problem?  Does anyone have an answer to the problem? Thanks, Bob Rosenberry,    

I just started trying to learn Dreamweaver this week using a course on LinkedIn Learning. I'm trying to change fonts for different parts of the page I'm working on - CSS body, h1, etc. When I go to the CSS Designer tab > Selector > body > Properties and select type, I go into manage fonts. I'm picking fonts that are provided to me via Adobe Edge Web fonts, but when the change doesn't appear in the Split window that I'm working in. Nor does it work if I do try and preview using F12. It does, however, work when I use File > Real Time Preview > Google Chrome. Is this just how it Dreamweaver works, or is there a way to take the guess work out of whether or not my fonts are working?

I am new to this program and have an assignment due for school Sunday, the dreamweaver application opens but from the create screen nothing responds. Ive tried uninstalling & reinstalling both just the program and the creative cloud and nothing works. Please help. I am currently using the latest version of Mac OS Monterey 12.5.

I have a page with a template that lists all of the chapters in our online reader: http://inside.sfuhs.org/dept/history/Mexicoreader/Chapter1/index.htm. This template works fine for every chapter except ch. 5, which goes to a bunch of dead links: http://inside.sfuhs.org/dept/history/Mexicoreader/Chapter5/Chapfive.htm.I followed the directions to reinstall the standard template, and the code now reflects that--though it looks different. Here's the code for ch.2:Whereas here's the code for ch. 5:The links should work, from what I can see, but they don't. Would love thoughts about what I should be doing.

I am putting together a website from a template and I keep running into the following error.the value of attribute [ data-vide-bg ] must be in double quotes. Here is the line of code in question<section class="video-section overlay" data-vide-bg= '{"mp4": "video/video-calltoaction.mp4", "poster": "video/placeholder.jpg"}' data-vide-options="posterType: jpg, loop: true, muted: true"> I have tried adding double quotes around data-vide-bg but I just get a different error all together. Can someone help me figure out what I'm missing? 

Hi you all, I have a problem, I promise my client a website with a bit o UX, the idea that I came up was like the mouse acted like a lamp and discovers the picture behind, is that posible at all, do you know where I can see the code to base my work?

I've been using Dreamweaver for some time but in the site I'm now working on, whenever I click on the extrnal stylesheet Dreamweaver loads it in Split Screen & loses it. It gives a notice saying it's not on the Remote Sever. What is going on?

minor issue - the incredibly generous Osgood guided me into a video slideshow as my background for a showcase sitehttps://toddheymandirector.com/ evenutally i will create a responsive site but for nowI created a mobile/tablet version that works wonderfully on a desktop using developer toolshttps://toddheymandirector.com/tablet/however if you watch on a tablet or mobile (resized-mobile version as soon as I figure out the pause)..it has a pause in each video- a freeze-frame for a second before it starts playing.  is there an attibute I should add ?i optimized them all so they are 5m or under and i tried preloading but it makes no difference.. 

I am getting the same error message when trying to connect to the Liquid Web servers where I host my sites.I have attached a jpg below. Meanwhile I am going to call adobe AGAIN as the system just hung up on me while waiting for a DW person. 

Working in live view in the main window (not code), any number of actions cause DW (latest CC version) to insert non-breaking spaces everywhere. If not for the program entering these, I never use them. Literally never.Example: UL, hit enter to add a new list item...nbsp at the end. Many different things do it. Is there any way to get this to stop? DW still ignores attempts to delete non-breaking spaces in the design window (live view), instead deleting the first character next to it in either direction. This was allegedly fixed, but never released into a mainstream version, AFAIK.  Need this frustrating and basically pointless practice to stop, as it's doing my head in. 

Looking at a page with images I notice the sizes are set thus width="300" height="300"On the page the images look OKThe images are larger than these measurements but do vary.As this is dynamic page which pulls in a variety of images,is it best to go for the largest image size allowed by the website.I think the size stated causes errors with the Google robot.Many thanks for your advice.John

I am currenlty working in Dreamweaver v. 21.3, and the device preview option is not appearing within the preview options. Was this service removed from this version, or am I missing something? Thanks,Bayley Gonzales  

Literally overnight, seemingly as if the software tried to update itself, and move from 21.2 to 21.3, it seemed to "fail" with error code 116 at some point (while the software was open -- not sure if that matters).  But it stopped working, and would no longer save or upload.  I tried to repair or manually update, but I was running into the same error, even with my firewall (now) turned off.   The log shows this:   Exit Code: 116 ------- Summary ------- - 3 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 6 warnings(s) FATAL: Fatal Error '116' occurred while download FATAL: Fatal Error '116' occurred while download FATAL: Error occurred in download of package (Name: AdobeDreamweaver21_x64-mul_stripped Version: 21.3.0.15593). Error code: '116' [Remaining report redacted by moderator to save space.]   ...but that folder "/Users/(USERNAME HERE)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver 2021/" DOES NOT EXIST!!!  It's as if it was ALREADY DELETED!!  Like the program was MOV

When I'm change the name of the selector I can't change properties of the selctor.
