I used the light template when I was creating my site in dreamweaver. I have since changed the title between the title tags <title></title> for each page but when I uploaded my site, the tab in chrome when I open my site says "Light Template" where can I change it I can't find anywhere to edit that.

In a Dreamweaver project browser shows in developer mode some missing bootstrap .map files:- bootstrap.css.map- popper.min.js.map- bootstrap.js.map=> see screenshot. Dreamweaver is up to date, and all files of the web project are transferred to the webserver.I also tried to copy the relevant files from the official bootstrap source, but this doesn't completely fix the problem. Thank you for your help in advance! Stefan

Since updating to Dreamweaver 21.1, my CSS files are all showing as Read Only. Nothing has changed, nothing has moved. And they are definitely not read only. Ideas?

I created a drop-down menu. It was perfect until I added one more menu item. Now the last item jumps to a 2nd. row. How can I resize the menu so it fits on one row AND it also has to shrink when viewed on a tablet to fit on one row! www.winvoices.com

when i save a file on my dream weaver. once i open it the text is white on a black screen. im sure this is a rookie mistake. i can type on the page however i can not code as the functionalities dont work.

Why do I get this message and how can I rectify?

I'm at the import window and can't move forward. What must I do next? Perhaps some file(s) have to renamed before I can import the docs from my DW CS6 website into DW 2021?

I styled a "buy it" button and am trying to figure out how to add my form so that it connects and looks like my button. I tried adding the form but then the style gets messed up. I did a few websites in Dreamweaver back in CS6 times and they are still active. However recently I have had to make quite a few changes for clients. I find that in the latest version of Dreamweaver, they still work - sort of - I say sort of because it is poretty much impossible to update items in menus because the Spry menus I used back in the day no longer work in Dreamweaver CC...ie the little blue tag you could click is no longer there so all the Spry details are inaccessible. Can someone steer me towards a tutorial that can show me how to redo these menus in Dreamweaver CC? They are pretty straightforward, I just do not know where to begin after lots of searching and trying.

Nur leider vergisst Dreamwaever immer noch die gespeicherten Zugangsdaten für den FTP Server. Mein alter Win10 Rechner hatte das auch, da hatte ich aber den Rechner in Verdacht. Having some trouble getting the latest update to Dreamweaver 2021 to open. I have installed the update that was released today, but now when I try to launch the app from my MacBook Pro, I immediately get taken to the error report submission form when a CC app crashes.    I reached out to @AdobeCare on Twitter and tried to reset the preferences and do a clean install of Dreamweaver, but still no dice. Help, please!

Just had someone take-over a website I had managed for a number of years, they've done it in Wix......looks passable on desktop but hideous on mobile. Wix seems to feed something else on mobile, I have no idea what though........but that is besides the point. My real question is:What this person has done is changed the DNS record in the Control Panel, where the old website was controlled, so the domain now points to the Wix named servers. As this is a dead project for me now I no longer want to maintain the hosting/server/control panel. If I get the current host (where the files used to be hosted) to kill the hosting/server/control panel does this effect the changed DNS record or will it still point to Wix? As an aside note, I'm pretty much pleased I'm largely out of this now. I got rid of a number of 'unproductive' clients a couple of years back and maintained about 15 websites to manage. However since the pandemic 8 of those have disappeared, 5 completely rebuilt their webs

Hi there, I am certainly not a skilled HTML coder, but have been coding email blasts in Dreamweaver and then pasting the code into Constant Contact to send to our clients. I've run into an issue with only outlook users that the code spits out a floating <td> or </td> at the bottom of our emails. I found the source and fixed it up, but now everything is aligned left (even though I have it aligned center?). Updated to Dreamweaver 21.2 on Macbook Pro running BigSur.when trying to open dreamweaver it says I do not have permissions to open Adobe Dreamweaver 2021.I tried to change permissions etc with no avail..I ended up reverting to 21.1 and everything went back to working fine.Is there a fix for this?

Hi there, I've got an old website that is dated and is supposed to be dated (blackmetaldeath.com) as it's the gimmick. Now, it still works but there is always a pop up "Content on this page requires a newer version of Macromedia Flash Player. Do you want to download it now?". How can I stop this from happening for every visitor? There is no newer version (it's not even supported 🙂 and the website works fine without the update. So basically, this check should be switched off. Is this something I can put in de website itself? If yes, how? Thanks for thinking along! I really appreciate it! Floris
