Acrobate professional and the 7.0.7 patch

I have set up the Acrobat Professional 7.0.0 upgrade install VIA the Install Tuner. We have managed to patch the Admin install to 7.0.5. When we try to run the 7.0.7 patch against the Admin install it starts and stops right away like something is wrong with the AcrobatUpd707_all_incr.exe patch file. Can anyone tell me if we are doing something wrong or is there in-fact something wrong with the 707 patch? We were successful in patching to 7.0.5 so we are following the same steps that worked with the 7.0.7 patch without any luck.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion you might be able to offer.

We were able to get it all set up and can install the Upgrade for Adobe Professional. The result is 7.0.5. But maybe there is an issue becuase of the fact that it is an upgrade version of the install. But our thoughts are if we can get er up to 7.0.5 then we should be abel to get er up to 7.0.7 right? That's why we were thinking something must be wrong with the Acro707.msp file we are using.

Possible. I haven't tried that.

Yes we can use the admin install to install the Adobe Pro upgrade and the result is 7.0.5. So that's all good. I can even take and use the patch to upgade the install from 7.0.5 to 7.0.7. So it works for us there. It jut dies when w try to updat the admin install from 7.0.5 to 7.0.7. could there be a problme with us trying to use an dmin install for an upgradej version of Pro. We were able to take the Adobe Pro Upgrade 7.0.0 and make an amin install out of it. Then Like I said we were able to patch that to 7.0.5.

MMMMMMMM

Thanks again.

>So we now have it at 7.0.5.

Right. So when you run this installer on a machine, does it work?

We were successful with the 7.0.5 patch to the admin install. We started off by making an admin install for Adobe Professional Upgrade 7.0.0. We then were able to run the 7.0.5 admin upgrade. So we now have it at 7.0.5. We want to be able to update the 7.0.5 admin install to 7.0.7. We are having trouble with the 7.0.7 admin install because it stops just about 5 seconds after the install starts.

Have you tried running the 7.0.5 patched installer yet? Maybe that will pop up an error pointing to a problem with the admin install point in general.
