Good day.

Our 3-level IT want to disable the following options on all Adobe Acrobats installed.

-Show online storage when opening files

-Show online storage when saving files

The chatbot told us to create some regkey on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown

bShowOnlineStorageWhenSaving > 0

bShowOnlineStorageWhenOpening > 0

But is not working. After setting the regkeys and rebooting, the options still appears as enabled.

We need to now if it’s possible since we want to deploy it.

Thanks

    Hi @john.ramirez

Thank you for reaching out. Based on your query, I understand that you are looking to disable the following options on all installed Adobe Acrobat applications:

    • Show online storage when opening files

    • Show online storage when saving files

Please confirm if this is the issue you need assistance with.

I recommend reviewing the following documentation for detailed guidance on configuring these settings:
    https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/FeatureLockDown.html#Services-CloudStorage(DC)

These settings apply to 12.x and later versions and allow you to control access to Document Cloud storage as well as third-party cloud storage solutions.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards,
    ^AN
