How to re-enter proxy credentials...

This first time you set up Adobe Creative Cloud you are asked to enter proxy credentials... but if your corp. proxy changes CC just says you can't connect to the internet...  You are never asked again for your credentials for new proxy and seem like CC may not ever update the proxy setting from the system...  and there is no where I can see to force CC to bring up this form again so you can re-enter your credentials..

...help!!

Thanks, alisterblack. This link is about preventingOur problem has been more similar to the original poster's issue, where when the user provides proxy credentials, and then has to change their proxy password (in Network proxy preferences) due to corporate requirements. We were looking for a way to immediately update Adobe's own "record" of these credentials. Otherwise, a while after the proxy password change in Network preferences, we either get messages in the CC app that the adobe servers cannot be reached, or we may get another proxy popup request, but it doesn't always seem to save to the keychain. Sometimes it seems like Adobe is "pounding at the doors" of the proxy server behind the scenes, because we've even had situations where the user ends up locked out of their corporate account due to too many "attempts". So changing proxy passwords has been a bit dicey for us (and I don't like the idea of users having to dig out obscure files from the Library).

We've been on older Macs running El Capitan, and will be moving to new Macs with High Sierra. I'm doing some proactive research to hopefully prevent the same problems.

I'm not a big fan of keychain, and find it odd that Adobe apps can't use the network proxy settings in Preferences.

Hi,

If you delete the file mentioned below that should fix this issue for you.

The opm.db file contains cached user login information and deleting this file is a useful troubleshooting step. Once deleted a fresh file will be automatically created when you launch Creative Cloud and log back in.

  1. Close the Creative Cloud application.
  2. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
  3. Delete the opm.db file.
  4. Launch Creative Cloud.

This worked as described... but didn't solve the proxy issues my colleagues are experiencing unfortunately...
