Rolling back to Indesign 2017 from 2018 trial?

I seemed to have been forced to trial InDesign 2018 before Christmas which I thought would not cause me a problem. Now the trial period has finished, it would appear that InDesign 2017 was effectively uninstalled when 2018 was installed for the trial. I can't see any options in the CC pane to reinstall my paid for 2017 and our IT guy is off until Monday! I have loads of work to do and no InDesign currently.

Can anybody advise?

Sarah

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm having the exact same issue but even when I log in with the admin account InDesign CC 2018 is only listed under Trial Apps. All of the other CC apps updated to 2018 just fine but InDesign seems to have fallen off of our account. Please help if you can!

I couldn't seem to resolve it for the account that was set up in my name as a team member. The IT guy shared the admin details with me so I am now logged in as him and working on 2018 again now as the team coordinator. If I change back to my login, all I am presented with is Start Trial for 2018 again and no 2017 version to roll back to. Under the admin account I can install v.8,9,10,11, 12.1 or 13. Sorry I guess that's not going to be much help to you!

If you are subscribed to CC, there should be no trial period.

Sign out of your account, restart the computer, and then sign in again.  You should be able to use InDesign again.

When installing a new version, you have the option to keep the old version.

Thanks Peru Bob but that hasn't resolved the problem. There is no InDesign 2017 in my applications on my PC, and no option in the Creative Cloud pane to change back to InDesign 2017. There is an uninstall option on the CC pane. If I uninstall will it give me the chance to reinstall 2017 or will InDesign disappear from my CC pane altogether?

The 2017 version may not be available for download.

It will only give you the option of reinstalling 2018 if 2017 is not available for installation.
