Question

Security roles/RBAC

I’m currently the admin on our Adobe account, not the owner.  I pay the bills, and as admin can add as many users as I like. However, I can’t see the actual invoices. Instead, I have to contact the owner to get me a copy. completely inefficient for all parties.  This doesn’t really make logical sense, and I suspect across many organizations, the tech owners and admins are not the ones doing the accounting and budgeting.  I wanted to add this as feedback but of course the feedback button in my account is a dead link...So, again, Adobe, please give admins on accounts the ability to see the invoices that they are paying!!!!

I understand that, and I’m suggesting that the admin role be expanded.  simple as that.  It makes no sense for it to be one person since people come and go in organizations, people are on holiday, etc.  Isn’t it generally recommended for software and platforms that there be more than one admin?

    Hi @hsifj,

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and we understand how inefficient it can be to handle billing for your organization without direct access to the invoices you are paying for.

Here is how invoice access works today for Creative Cloud for teams, along with an option that may resolve this for your situation:

Invoice access on Teams: For Creative Cloud for teams plans purchased directly from Adobe.com, only the contract owner can view and download invoices from Admin Console > Account > Billing History. There is one contract owner per Teams account, and no other admin role provides access to the Billing History tab. For plans purchased through a reseller, invoices are managed by the reseller directly, so you would request them there.

Transferring the contract owner role: If your organization would prefer that you, as the person handling billing, hold the contract owner role going forward, the current contract owner can nominate you for that role from the same Admin Console > Account tab. You will need to be a System Administrator first. Full steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/change-contract-owner.html

On your feature request: We hear you, and the right place to formally submit this so our product team can track it is our Feature Request forum: https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-603. If the feedback button in your account is not working, these two channels are the working alternatives.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    ^BS

A more appropriate forum for this post would be https://community.adobe.com/enterprise-teams-622. Post there, you might get some suggestions on how other admins are dealing with this
