Trying to open Premiere Pro and a "creative cloud" window opens that says "please wait for a moment" with a loading icon beneath it..... any Ideas why this is, or how to fix?

I have moved your thread to this community, as you have mentioned you have a teams license of Creative Cloud. Experts here will be able to assist you quick and better.

Hi,

Try these steps

  1. Ensure you are using the correct Adobe ID - if added to the Admin Console as Federated ID or Enterprise ID make sure you are choosing the 'Enterprise' option when logging in.
  2. Sign out and sign back in to the software by going to Help>Sign Out
  3. Make sure you are connected to the internet
  4. The opm.db file contains cached user login information and deleting this file is a useful troubleshooting step. Once deleted a fresh file will be automatically created when you launch Creative Cloud and log back in.
    • Close the Creative Cloud application.
    • Navigate to the OOBE folder.
      Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
      Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    • Delete the opm.db file.
    • Launch Creative Cloud.

Thanks, but how do I get an answer to my question from this?  When I click on "Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS", all I find is this thread again:  This is an infinite loop.  ...???

Regarding the suggestions from Ann Bens  Jun 2, 2018 2:28 AM:

1.  Moved to Adobe Creative Cloud: what's there I should be looking at?

2.  Might want to Contact Customer Care:  ditto:  I click "Adobe Premier Pro".  Then "Troubleshoot".  Then 'Trying to open Premiere Pro and a "creative cloud" window opens that says "please wait for a moment"'.  Then this thread again.  I reached this point last Friday, June 1, at 8:19 PM.  I tried to call 1-800-585-0774 for Adobe Sales Support.  However, by that time, it was after 7 PM Pacific time, and they claim to operate only M-F 5 AM - 7 PM Pacific time.  I seem to recall having read on another thread where someone reinstalled Adobe Premier Pro (or another Adobe Product) without it fixing the problem.  I will try to call Customer Care ... now that it's past 5 AM on a Monday.  Thanks.

"a moment" = forever.

background:  I have a group license.  I had reassigned my license.  I then reassigned it to myself.  Adobe Premier Pro looked like it may have started to redownload the software, even though it already existed on my computer.  Then it malfunctioned.  The Adobe Premier Pro central data thinks I have a license assigned to me.  However, my local copy treats me with the contempt of a fraud:  Asking me to "Please wait for a moment" to increase the amount of time a fraud would waste.  This is user hostility -- contempt for customers -- as also indicated in the difficulties in getting support for questions like this.

p.s.  I'm paying $30 per month for a nonprofit group license that rarely gets used.  I try to get others to use it, but they don't seem to bother -- perhaps because things like this that should be easy are not.

I have the impression that posts like this rarely if ever get read by Adobe staff.  It reminds me of the line from W. C. Fields talking about a restaurant:  "I don't know why I come here.  The flies get the best of everything."
