Mixed languages in cross-references

Hello all, I'm using FrameMaker 2022 version 17.0.4 and have an issue with cross-references.

I'm writing my FM files both in German and in English. In some of my English language files, some cross-reference links look like this:

'(siehe 11.7 "Control panel" auf Seite 12-9)'

The German, bolded text should be in English. The referenced content is in English. I can't find a method to correct this.

Most of the cross-references are in the correct language, i.e. English, but some will have to be corrected.

Grateful for any help!

Double-click one of the cross-references and it will open the Cross-References Panel. There is a button in the lower left that says Edit Format. If you click this, you can edit the text in your Cross-Reference Format. Typically, you will have a template for each language and you can use File > Import > Formats to update all of the Cross-Reference formats in your document or book.
