Can't find pencil tool

Hi, trying to find the pencil tool. i have pen and brush but not the pencil. I am incredibly new to Ai, I run on windows 7. I found a thread and tried resetting the plug-ins and preferences but has not yet worked. It is functioning fine as far as i can tell otherwise. Hopefully I am just missing something silly.

      There are lots of hidden tools in the toolbar. If there's a little triangle on a tool button, you need to click and hold for the hidden tools to appear.
