I was able to use illustrator on my computer yesterday just fine. Suddenly today when opening the program it will crash within 20 seconds of being open. I do not know what the issue is bc i dont mess with settings. I have sent in about 4 crash reports with no response

Hi,

Please try again. We believe the crashing should no longer occur.

Same issue, started today after noon. I was able to open it after disconnecting from Wifi also.

Wasted 2 hours uninstalling and reinstalling before finding this thread...

Same issue.  I tried it on my other computer as well and Illustrator crashed on that computer too.  I have uninstalled, re-installed, sent crash reports.  Updated Windows, backed up to the previous and it isn't helping.

Same problem here - PC, Win 10. Worked fine yesterday.

EDIT: It works if I disable my internet connection - as soon as I shut down Illustrator, re-enable the internet, and re-open, it's back to crashing.

Same with me. I disconnected any connection I had to the internet and then I could get it to launch. After it was launched with a new file open, I reconnected my laptop to the internet via ethernet w/ usb 3 adapter.

I can concur that turning off WIFI stops Ai and Id from crashing.

If I keep WIFI on and quit the CC app manager, and then open the above apps, they crash again.

Mojave 10.14.1 / Ai 23.0.1 / Id 14.0.1.209

Same problem - Ai and Id both crashing within seconds of opening apps. Tried many troubleshooting steps with no success.

No problems with Ps or Lr.

I have the same issue. Unable to either open a previous document or open a new document. Running MacOS Mojave 10.14.2, deleted and reinstalled Illustrator CC 2019. Dead in the water.

I'm having exact sam issues on a brand spankin' New Mac Mini 2018 - just started happening today after a week of working flawlessly. Not sure what the problem is, but I've tried uninstalling, deleting preferences, and everything else above. This is pretty unacceptable as it we require these things for work.

No other plugins at work other than my Cintiq. Holding my breath for a solution. This is as fresh as an install gets.
