Can anyone break down how to create this text effect for me? I want to make somet text look 3D but only using the stroke

Then you need to expand it and unite the elements in the shadow and then apply the necessary strokes and fills.

May I ask what you have tried so far and what exactly didn't work with your approach?

This is my version that I made. It's not quite what I want.
The original reference image is from adobe stock, i'm just trying to recreate it but i'm not sure exactly where to start and googling '3D text effect' isn't giving me the tutorials that I need.
