I wanted to make a Christmas tree, so I made several triangles and combined them into one, but it didn't look fun, so I changed it a little bit. Then I pressed it to use the mesh tool, but it got out of my control. It's been 2 days since I used Illustrator. I don't know how to find a solution, no matter how much I look for itI don't know if I want to find another way.Is there a way for the mesh tool to be fully operational, adjust the handles etc. of the mesh tool, or create a gradient in that unusual object shape?I want to make a gradation in that shape in the future and make a nice creation....help

I keep getting this error, have tried to change the location of the folder to several places where I am sure permissions are for everyone to read-write, with no luck. Anyone else having this problem? And figured out how to solve it? 

I dont know which step went wrong. Those shapes(pic 1) were supposed to be single paths(pic 2). How to convert them into single paths? Thanks!  

I'm creating a script called "Export Assets to Cavalry". It uses custom Actions in functions to work around the lack of native Illustrator scripting API. In my case, I'm using a make_action() function to get an array of highlighted layers in the Layers palette. Everything works great when launched from the File menu. Now I want to attach a Function Key keyboard shortcut to it, but since Illustrator once again lacks the ability to attach shortcuts to user Scripts (like PS can), the workaround is to attach a Menu Item to an action in the Actions palette. But now this creates a recursive loop, wherein, when executed from the Action palette, when I fire off specific parts of my script , my script creates a temp folder called 'Scripted_Actions' and causes Illustrator to hang. I have to Force Quit and I get a crash report from Illustrator.  The attached image shows what's on screen when it hangs. How do I use script or code to modify the display units in the current document in Illustrator? My current units are millimeters (or centimeters) but I want to change it to pixels using a script because I have other scripts running in an environment that require fixed units to be pixels. I need to have the document environment in pixels before running it. I checked a lot of information but couldn't find a solution, is there a way to use code completion?

There is one layer in the file, on which there are a number of objects like in the picture. How to arrange these objects (from this layer) on separate layers in the same order as they are arranged? This way, each sub-object will be on a separate layer.

Why do I need to disable the control top bar to export as > every time, if I need to export my work I have to select all artboard with the selection tool

What is the best know-how on working with multiple language on packaging in Illustrator. We are making packaging with over 8 -9 langauges where current we copy past each langauge in the file and in some case we copy paste each word for Excel, and translations for a PDF, it a lot of manual work, is there a workflow to make this a bit easier and faster, when you have 8+ langauges it become a lot of work just copy -past,  See examples langauges, enclosed we work with the following langauges NL- EN- DE- FR - PL- CZ - IT - ES - SK - PT - RO it would be great if there is work-flow to fine tune this process, currently it's a lot of work, copy, pasting, removing style, adding style to sections of the text and so on, I can't image this how very big companies do this, with a lot of products and langauges If you have any tips and tricks please let me know,

Hi, thanks to be here !I have a question about the prints templates on Illustrator.I work for a sportwear company and i have a lot of jersey design to make. I create the design on Photoshop with a mockup and after I make the template for printing on Illustrator. Then, I have to modify this template according to all the sizes (from S to 4XL) and it takes me a very long time to make the template 7 (from S to 4XL) times with the right cuts and borders.Please, is there a way to automate the variations of the print templates to make the jersey design fit the correct size ? Thank you very much in advance for your help !

When I print my file directly from Adobe Illustrator, the print comes out fine. However, when I save the file as a PDF using the "PDF/X-3:2002" settings and try to print it from Adobe Acrobat, some areas of the illustration print with white blocks over them. There are no hidden layers in the file, so I'm unsure why this is happening.I need to send the PDF to a client, but I don’t want the random white blocks to appear. Has anyone encountered this issue or have a solution?

Hello, I have an file filled with frontside prints, and now i want to edit the linked file so i can make the file for the back. But when i select al of the files and want to change them, i locate the other file on my pc, but Illustrator only changes one of the photos. How can i change all of the selected files at once? Thanks in advance

Hello,I am preparing a project in Illustrator/InDesign. It’s not for a bound book but for loose sheets. After cutting, the final size needs to be 200x110 mm, so I set the artboard size in Illustrator to 200x110 mm and added a 5 mm bleed. I've completed my design, but when I export it as a PDF, the MediaBox and CropBox dimensions show as 223 mm.This means that for my design, which should fit on A5 paper, the person doing the digital printing will need to use A4 paper. However, I want them to use A5 paper, but the MediaBox ends up being 223 mm each time. What would you recommend as a solution?Thank you!

I am creating my first book cover for a client and am having a hard time exporting it as a PDF for Amazon.  KDP. I flattened the transparency first and then exported with the preset [PDF/X-3:2002], but as you can see that looks terrible.Thanks for any help or advice! 

Hola comunidad. Tengo el problema de que, cuando quiero empaquetar un archivo para enviarselo al cliente, no se linkean las imagenes. Las imagenes las subí de manera correcta (place) y las carpetas no las moví de lugar, y sin embargo siguen sin aparecer en la carpeta empaqeutada. Alguien podría ayudarme?
