Prepare for print

Hi, I prepared in Illustrator a file to go live on email only, however then I decided to prepare for print. I added the bleed points however there is now showing a gray space between my document and the bleed points. Please advise how I could get this fixed quickly, as I have a lot of pages on this document.

So there is only the canvas showing between the edge of the page and the bleed area?

You have to enlarge the objects, this doesn’t happen automatically unless you use AI for it. But the generated results may be pretty bad.

Ok, I see will have to do this manually. just another question, my objects are on a white background do I have to enlarge the objects only? what about where its supposed to print white, will the gray automatically print white?

If you just want the paper visible, then you do not need objects. Unless for covering up other objects that should not print in that particular space.
