Illustrator closes before I can draw anything on iPad Pro

Hi,

 

I have been using illustrator on my iPad pro for a while and now suddenly it closes whenever I try to draw/edit any file. It opens but closes as soon as I draw a single line. There isn't an error crash message and nothing useful in the previous conversations. My iPad is up to date and matches illustrator specifications. Please help

Sorry for the delayed response. To address this problem, please make sure you have the latest updates installed:

  • Update Adobe Illustrator: Ensure that you have the latest version of Adobe Illustrator installed on your iPad. As of now, version 3.0.6 is the latest release. You can update the app through the App Store.

  • Update iPadOS: Ensure that your iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS. As of now, iPadOS 17.2 is the latest release.

 

Performing these updates should help resolve the reported issues with Illustrator on iPad. If you continue to experience problems after updating, please let me know.

Hi @Oliwia5FDC,

 

We are sorry for the delayed response and app crashing on the iPad. I hope the issue is resolved now. If not, would you mind updating to the latest version of iPadOS (v15.7) & Illustrator (v2.1.2) and ensuring you have 8 - 20 GB of free space?

 

However, if you are still facing crashes on launch, would you mind confirming your iPad model and sharing the Crash logs; steps are here:
Open iPad Settings > Privacy > Analytics and improvements > Analytics data on your device. You will see the file name like "adobe illustrator***.ips"
Please share these files and ensure they are the recent ones you can identify with the date & time at the end of the logs name.

Estou enfrentando o mesmo problema a mais de um mês, e fiquei bastante frustrado com o atendimento do chat especificamente, torço pra conseguir algo por aqui, vamos lá:

Estou usando um iPad Pro 11 4th, com mais de 200gb livres, sempre que vou usar a Apple Pencil 2 ou Magic Mouse, ele trava sem explicações, simplesmente fecha o app sem avisos. Já formatamos o iPad, reinstalamos aplicativo, alteramos idioma e nada resolve, preciso muito que isso funcione de forma coerente, está muito difícil trabalhar.

I have read this thread already https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-on-the-ipad-discussions/adobe-illustrator-keeps-crashing-on-the-ipad/m-p/11546156

I have already deleted and reinstalled the app, it says the data is removed with the app, not sure if there is another way to remove the data and not just the app like in the thread in the link above. If there is please help! I'm struggling here
