Illustrator on Ipad keeps crashing

Illustrator keeps crashing after minutes of working on a document. It does not save the work up until the crash. I'm only really using the brush tool.

I have:

-made sure my ipad is compatible and updated 

-checked that everything is up to date

-updated/unistalled/reinstalled the app
