Copy Paste vectors from AI to InDesign does not give uneditable shapes

After installing a new version of InDesign, when I try to copy and paste any vector shape from Adobe Illustrator to InDesign the shapes become unediable. Before I could change the color of the shape, fix the curves etc, right now the shapes look like an image in a rectagle frame.

Thanks in advance to the communutiny for the attention to this question.
