CSXS Event Warning

I have never had a warning pop up in InDesign before.

"CSXSEvent does not have a constructor
Do you want to disable this event handler?

"

Can you tell me what this means and how to fix it? It looks like InDesign just updated today to 20.4. I am on a Mac (if that is important)

Hi @Veronica22551996i6fw,

Thanks for reporting this! The warning you're seeing related to CSXSEvent was identified and addressed by the product team.

We recommend updating to the latest InDesign 20.4.1 release, which includes fixes for this issue. Once you've updated, please test your workflow and let us know if the warning still appears.

We'd appreciate an update on your experience so we can confirm the fix is working as expected.

This seems to be a bug that is being reported by others as well. See the discussion at https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/cep-plugin-ioerror-when-loading-plugplugexternalobject-in-20-4/m-p/15372357#M628281

This looks like a script error: see https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/cc2015-mac-cxsevent-does-not-have-a-constructor-warning-from-newly-installed-cep-extension-on-macosx/m-p/7881502.

In case this isn't enough information, I'll add the scripting tag to your post.
