Export to PDF fails with embedded indd-files

I have a few InDesign files with embed indd files in them.

When I export a file to PDF (High Quality print) I get an error: Failed to export PDF. This could be due  to issues in certain pages or assets. Please check and try again.

When I export the embedded indd-files to PDF and embed this PDF, the error is solved.

So it looks like something has changed for embedding indd-files, what could this be?

Known problem, if you have searched the forums here you would have found this topic already a few times. The bug is known, there is a fix coming (it has to do with T1 fonts).

So no solution yet, you have to wait for a fixed update...

It can be not only font problem. It can be anything: PNG, tif, eps "bugged" placed images, some embedded images, etc

It is absolutely a bug in 18.2. That is why the rollout was stopped. This is specific to placed INDD files that use Type 1 fonts.
