Question

Freight Sans Pro no longer on Adobe Fonts

Freight Sans on adobe font site does not sit in the text box (indesign) the same way the Pro version does. It sits lower within the box, while the Pro version aligns with the top of the box. I have work with Pro version that now when font replaced need to be manually fixed. Problem because coworkers still have Pro version and we all work on same files. Any suggestions?

Hi @leah_4160, Welcome to our community!

Can you please confirm if this is the font you're looking for: https://adobe.ly/48bJlmq?

Best!

Hello

Yes, it is "like" Freight Sans Pro - but does not behave the same way in InDesign in particular.

The original Freight Sans Pro - the cap height aligned with the top of a text box. The new version sits lower in the box - so when I open an InDesign file that was using "Freight Sans Pro" and now have to replace with "Freight Sans" all my layouts are off and text boxes need to be realigned.

It is not a like for like swap - and VERY frustrating. I have years of work that now does not open properly.

Can this be fixed.

Thanks, Leah
