Help! When i use InDesign , every action or step is delayed by 3 to 5 seconds....

When working with InDesign, every action or step is delayed by 3 to 5 seconds or even longer. I'd like to inquire about ways to resolve this issue?

With the software version being InDesign 19.4 X64 on Windows 11 and hardware specifications including a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H CPU running at 2.90 GHz and 32.0 GB of RAM.

I would be extremely grateful if somebody could assist in resolving the issue.

Every file - even the new/blank one - or just specific file(s)?

Do you work over the network?

If everything is ok with new/blank files - how often are you doing Save As with a new name?

First, try the standard troubleshooting steps:

If it doesn't help: did the problem start after updating to InDesign 19.4? If so, try to revert to 19.3 - will it make a difference? You can do this from Creative Cloud app:
