How to create and edit an InDesign document with two users on two different computers
My boss would like me to create a document with text and stock images, save it to our shared Adobe Creative Cloud, and would then like for herself to be able to open it and edit it on her separate computer, and then be able to send it to print. Currently we're able to open each other's documents on the cloud, but links are missing as images weren't embedded. I've seen a lot of people say not to embed images into a document, because it'll be too large to work with. What's the alternative if I'm creating the document with stock images and saving it to our cloud, for her to then be able to open, edit, and print from her end (without embedding the images?). Would it be to have all stock images on the Adobe Creative Cloud, and she would need to then relink images when she opens the file on her computer?
Apologies if this is confusing, I'm more well versed in Illustrator, and am trying to solve this issue for work in InDesign.
