In Indesign CC (Latest vwersino) I'm trying to change my dictionary/language from French to English UK spelling... I change it in preferneces but when doing a spell check it reverts to French? Any ideas?

IT's because the paragraph styles/character styles are set to this.

Preferences is one thing - it is for all New Documents going forward (not all preferences work this way).

You need to change the language in the Paragraph/Character styles.

    Or use a GREP search

    Find

    .

    Change to

    $0

    And select the language

    Then Change All
