InDesign Documents and Links Using the InDesign Book Feature on Adobe Cloud Storage

We currently are experiencing server permissions issues with out company server and our Macs when we work off the server or use the InDesign Book Feature. Our InDesign documents range from 60 to 400 pages and so we have found using the Book Feature is a better way of managing all the information. We have at least 60 to hundreds of images per document. Our Macs are receiving a lot of permission issues with our internal server when we work on the InDesign documents while they are on the server. Since multiple people access them, we need to have them available and for everyone.

We have started looking into the Adobe Cloud storage. It has a documents area where we can store our InDesign native files and templates and then the Files area where we can store our images and illustrations. Unfortunatly it looks like our .eps files can not be stroed in the Files area but hopefully within the documents area.

I need to know if anyone has worked within the Adobe Cloud with documents that utilize the InDesign Book Feature. How do the links from the different folders work with the native InDesign documents? I can't seem to find any information on this within the discussions in the forum.
